A Crossville area local, Dr. Johnny Shanks grew up here and feels privileged to be able to serve his local community with exceptional personalized dental care. He graduated from Campbellsville University with a BS in biology and chemistry. He attained his dental degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis. To provide exceptional care to his patients and their families, he’s also graduated from the Kois Center® for Dental Excellence, which teaches the latest advances in aesthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. More Than New Teeth — A New Beginning

I was impressed with everything and everyone in the office. This was just my first visit so I can’t give a proper review on the WORK done yet. But I will say I am comfortable spending the necessary money for the implants. I struggle with lupus and bone loss due to the illness. So finding someone that understands and can help me fix this so I never have to wear dentures is a comfort.

Dr.Shanks and his team have given me my normal life back and I could not be more grateful!! Several dentists in the past told me I was stuck with dentures (not enough bone left). Met Dr. Shanks and he told me they just didn’t have the tools he had in his toolbox and boy was he right!! I really needed my implants fixed. I paid in full to have them done at another place in Middle Tennessee. Then they wanted more money. I just couldn’t do it. I came here in hope I could get it finished. Unless they can get the other dentist to send the rest of the implants I have to start all over. I just can’t afford it. It’s not this company’s fault. It’s a beautiful office and they were very nice. It was a better experience than my first place. I appreciated their time.
